Charles V de francia apodado " el sabio " fue un soberano de la dinastía de Valois, gobernó cómo regente de Francia entre 1356 y 1360, posteriormente en 1360 fue proclamado rey cargo que ocupo hasta su muerte en 1380, es recordado por recuperar los territorios franceses que cayeron a manos de los Ingleses durante la primera parte de la guerra de los cien años,
